Masters Rowing

ARC offers both competitive and recreational training opportunities for adults. All rowers are coached to gain fitness, power and speed while continuing to improve technique. Everyone is encouraged to participate in local scrimmages and regional regattas scheduled by the Program Director. Those wishing to compete should be committed to train hard and be willing to travel to selected races. Rowers who cannot or do not want to commit to racing receive the same training.

Both morning and evening practices are offered, and members may row at either time, of may switch between morning and evening practices with the consent of the coach.

Novice Masters

Open to all adults who have completed the basic Learn to Row program, the Novice program offers new rowers more time on the water to develop skills and ultimately transition to train and compete with the Masters.

Graduate Students

Grad students welcome. Full time grad students receive a $100 discount on seasonal dues.
