Programs and Camps: Visiting and Collegiate Rowers
Drop-In Rowers
ARC offers opportunity for guest rowers to row while in the Albany area. Experienced rowers who live outside of the Capital District (Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady counties) and who are visiting the Albany area may row in any of our adult programs while they are here. The guest rower fees are $15 per day or $35 per week for recreational and adult intermediate, and $45 per week for adult competitive. Guest rowers must sign an ARC waiver and release form. As a rule, no guest may row more than 2 consecutive weeks in one season without joining ARC as a member.
Collegiate Rowers
If you are a collegiate rower who wishes to join us for the summer session, ARC is offering a special evening session for college rowers who want to maintain fitness and improve technique through the summer. Evening session will be primarily sweep rowing. Additional morning sessions will be offered for sculling at the convenience of the coach. Practice times are as follows:
June 8 - August 8, 2009
Mon. - Fri. 5:30-6:45 pm
Sat. 7:00 - 9:00 a.m.
Collegiate rowers who cannot row in the evening may join the competitive masters program at 5:30 am at the collegiate dues rate.
Fees
Membership Dues: $230 for the season
Regatta Fee: $175 (if racing)
